Winter Steelhead Off to a Good Start

I've been fishing on the Smith/Chetco systems since just after Christmas.  While there have been a couple of tough days, fishing on the whole has been pretty good.  Unlike the last few winters, our weather has been more typical of Januarys on the North Coast with rain on a nearly daily basis.  As long as this pattern continues, I expect to remain fishing on either the Smith or Chetco.
