Smith River

Sunday was cancelled due to high water. On Monday, signs were encouraging. We ended up getting 6 plunkin' grabs. We were a little snakebit and only ended up putting 2 of those bites in the bag. Everyboat around us had some fish as well. After seeing that push of fish come through the lower river, everyone thought tuesday had potential to be excellent. It wasn't, however. There were alot of skunks. We did well for the day, landing 2 of 3 hookups. Hopefully, things will improve on this river. We are still close to a week away from fishing down south if the rain holds off.
