September 19-24

Hey everyone,
I've been on the lower Klamath for the last week and fishing has been a bit up and down. I've had a few days where we landed double digit amounts of fish, while other days have been slower. However, we are catching fish and getting our opportunities. While the fishing doesn't quite seem up to par for this time of year, I am seeing some quality fish into the teens everyday. Along with hooking and landing alot of fish, Local Carl Casale boated a salmon that was pushing 30 pounds on Monday. This was his biggest Klamath salmon ever and my biggest for the season! Congrats, Carl!
I'll be back on the river on Saturday, and we'll post a report when I get a chance.
