Pocrastinating again
Well, its been awhile since I've updated here. I arrived back from guiding in Alaska mid september. I started working almost immediately here, fishing both the Klamath and the Trinity. Fishing for both salmon and steelhead was steady with some pretty spectacular days mixed in. Last week brought some rain and I spent sunday through tuesday on the Smith. Sunday was spent with a good friend of mine hooking his first Smith salmon. Our biggest fish was in the low 30's and was as bright as can be. The next two days were spent fishing a group for Kim Hagen. Monday was as good as Sunday, while tuesday saw clear conditions. Fishing was slow for me, although we managed to land a handfull of jacks. Today I moved back to the trinity and had a fabulous day of salmon fishing, with my clients hooking more fish than they knew what to do with. Barring weather, I'll probably spend the next week on the Klamath-Trinity system. See you on the river.
